then join De Zondagmorgen Bikers, an initiative of cycling fanatic Lucien Arduin.
By means of he started his cycling passion with a cycling group De Zondagmorgen Bikers.
Since it is his aim to Lucien organizes to get as many people moving as possible by cycling
several days of cycling activities. There is a day for every level that you can participate in!

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays are there practice laps and longer rides are made on
weekends. A ride from one week a maximum of about 50 kilometers, and the other week a long ride
so that everyone can enjoy themselves come. Those long journeys go to all corners of the country,

Since there are not many cycle paths in Suriname, there is a lot of cycling on the highways.
Because cycling in a group gives you a very safe feeling and also commands respect from the public other road
users. When Lucien cycles with his cycling group, it attracts a lot of attention, the spectators usually love
it because Suriname is not really known as a cycling country!
Lucien sets the pace and the route and there is always an experienced cyclist at the end of the group bicycle.
